"Fancy" Betta are named mainly because the color formations that come out for these are usually pretty wild or abstract. This is what gives them the opportunity to be VERY unique Bettas. It should be noted that these may marble. To what extent they may marble we can't say, there is also a possibility that they do not marble at all but it should be mentioned that 99% of ALL Betta will marble to some extent, these just tend to do moreso and is how they are able to get some really crazy color combinations! It is also a pretty fun experience getting to see them shift colors slowly over time as they age.
